FleetTrack – GPS Fleet Management App
Real-time fleet tracking and vehicle management for logistics businesses

Live
GPS Tracking
Multi
Platform Release
Secure
Role-Based Access
Situation & Challenge
Logistics and transportation teams needed one mobile app to monitor vehicles in the field — not a patchwork of tools that break when connectivity drops.
- •Live GPS tracking and route monitoring for active fleets
- •Trip history and route playback for operations review
- •Geo-fencing with alert notifications when vehicles enter or leave zones
- •Role-based access so managers and drivers see the right data
- •Reliable performance on both iOS and Android
What I Built & Why
I built a Flutter app centered on map-first workflows, with a backend integration layer designed for field reliability rather than demo polish.
- •Google Maps SDK for live vehicle positions and route visualization
- •REST API integration for fleet data, synced with offline-tolerant patterns where needed
- •Firebase push notifications for geo-fence and operational alerts
- •Modular architecture to extend into fleet analytics and reporting without rework
- •Secure authentication scoped by role across the fleet hierarchy
Outcome
FleetTrack shipped to Google Play and the App Store as a production fleet management app — giving operations teams a single place to track vehicles, review routes, and act on alerts.
- •Live GPS tracking and route playback in daily use
- •Geo-fencing alerts delivered through push notifications
- •Fleet analytics and reporting built on the same modular foundation
- •Dual-platform release with role-based secure access
